Fees & Insurance
For any interested person, I offer a free 20-minute phone or video consultation to learn more about your goals and/or explore if your concerns fall within my specialties.
Availability and Fees:
I work with clients aged 18 and older in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout California. I am waiting for my Maryland license and will soon see clients residing there. Currently, I only offer video sessions, but I will update this page when that changes. Research indicates that telehealth is as effective as in-person care for the issues I typically address. In the phone consultation and intake phase, I will assess your condition to ensure we can effectively work together online. If I find that you need in-person care, I will provide referrals.
Please reach out for my current fees. My fees reflect typical rates for psychologists in both California and Maryland. I have a few sliding scale slots for those with financial needs. Of note, payment is due at the time of the session by cash, Zelle, HSA cards, or debit/credit cards.
Insurance:
I accept Lyra and Modern Health policies and file a claim on your behalf. I also accept clients from the Lotus Therapy Fund, which covers eight sessions for those who identify as Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI).
Please note, I do not accept any other types of insurance directly. If needed, I am happy to generate a billing statement (called a superbill) that you can forward to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. Many health insurance plans will reimburse for treatment provided by a licensed psychologist, even if they are out of network. However, plans vary widely, and you are responsible for determining your insurance benefits and obtaining reimbursement.
